I was nervous about washing a silk blouse I paid too much for, but this handled it fine on a cold hand wash and it came out soft with no fading. The bergamot and sandalwood scent is subtle and doesn't linger like the harsh stuff does.
My merino jumpers used to come out of the wash feeling slightly stiff, but this stuff leaves them properly soft and the bergamot scent is subtle rather than overpowering. A little goes a long way too, so the bottle is lasting ages.
I was nervous about hand washing a silk scarf I'd spent too much on, but this detergent left the fibres soft with no damage at all. Only a small capful is needed per wash, so the bottle is lasting way longer than I expected.
